He really had a solid season last year. I like the fact that he can play both DE and DT for us. Harris and Jenkins locked up. It's been a good start to the off season.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Wilkening: I think the Packers will be very happy with the return on their investment in Jenkins. He is one of the game?s up-and-coming defensive linemen, a player who can play well inside and outside. I am a little surprised Jenkins elected to take this deal before the start of restricted free agency; I got the sense he might have drawn some interest, especially if the Packers had given him the low or the second-round tender. But now he has the security of a lucrative, long-term contract.</div>

Definitely, as long as we can get Green Locked up i'll be content for now! I think 1 or 2 Starting caliber Free Agent Acquisitions are needed to really put us in true contention, i think a mid level Free Agent Safety, and a Veteran Wide out are our most pressing needs right now.

Central Michigan product makes it big. Good for him. There's another nice Chippewas D-lineman in this years draft. I'd like to see Dan Bazuin end up a Lion!

Its always good for a team to have a D lineman or two that can play both end and tackle.

I seriously doubt that, Thompson reportedly wants to see KGB in his reduced role for a seasons length, if a move happens with KGB it will have to be a trade. Pass Rushers are hard to come by nowadays.

I read on ESPN Insider that the Packers are one of 4 teams in the mix for Adalius Thomas. New England and San Francisco are the favorites with Green Bay and Cleveland the next in line. If the Packers sign Thomas they would probably use him at DE opposite of Kampman with Jenkins, Williams, and Pickett in the middle. Then you factor in the ability of Cullen Jenkins to play both DT and DE.

That spells trouble for KGB and his big cap figure.

Though if Green Bay can't get Thomas, then it wouldn't shock me to see them hold onto KGB.
