The Green Bay Packers signed linebacker Desmond Bishop to a four-year, $19 million contract extension, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. A former 2007 sixth-round pick from California, Bishop has become a standout linebacker this season for Green Bay. He had 103 tackles, three sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles this season for the Packers (10-6), who play at Philadelphia on Sunday in an NFC wild-card playoff game.
