Wahle, Rivera and Sharper will all be gone by March 11th. I'm guessing the Packers will draft the best linebacker available in the first round to take over at MLB for Barnett, so Bates can move Barnett outside. Navies is gone already and probably won't be re-signed. I'll be interested to see if the Packers make a play for Sammy Knight and then draft a safety to try to shore up that train wreck back there. Actually, I think Michael Hawthorne would make a good safety.
The Packers made low tender offers for Davenport, Barry and Nall today. I hope they know what they're doing... Last time they low-balled their restricted free agents, they really got screwed.
I could see Dallas going after someone like Davenport. They need a change-of-pace back for Julius Jones, and Davenport has done that effectively for the most part. Don't remember....would that be a 4th rounder we would owe GB if they didn't match?
Davenport would be perfect in Philly, considering that he already knows the westcoast offense. Since we have like 10 picks this year,(5 in the first 3 rounds) I would give up a 4th rounder for him. We will get some compensatory picks too for Vincent, Taylor, Staley and Emmons.

Looks like Michael Hawthorne is gone now! I thought he was a decent backup and could fill in for injued starters pretty nicely.
