Francies was named the Miners' most valuable player on offense in 2005 after notching personal-high totals of 44 receptions, 744 yards and five touchdowns. Starting 40 of 46 games, he finished with 128 catches for 2,022 yards, a 15.8-yard average and 12 touchdowns. Francies, 23, has a 36-inch vertical jump and a 10-6 broad jump. A Houston native, he ran 40 yards in 4.53 seconds at pro day in March. He scored 13 on the 50-question Wonderlic intelligence test. Arliss Beach, RB, Kentucky: 5-10?, 219, 22, from Ashland, Ky. . . .
