    A bunch of post draft signings by the Packers. Nice to see a couple of RB's in there. Still wondering why TT hasn't brought in a kicker. I can't imagine that he's 100% happy penciling in Cundiff at this point...

    Chris Francies - WR - UTEP - Francies, 6 feet 0? inches and 193 pounds, said he selected a two-year contract from the Packers against offers from Oakland, Baltimore, Kansas City and Philadelphia.
    Francies was named the Miners' most valuable player on offense in 2005 after notching personal-high totals of 44 receptions, 744 yards and five touchdowns. Starting 40 of 46 games, he finished with 128 catches for 2,022 yards, a 15.8-yard average and 12 touchdowns.
    Francies, 23, has a 36-inch vertical jump and a 10-6 broad jump. A Houston native, he ran 40 yards in 4.53 seconds at pro day in March. He scored 13 on the 50-question Wonderlic intelligence test.

    Arliss Beach, RB, Kentucky: 5-10?, 219, 22, from Ashland, Ky. . . . Backup for most of his time in college, finishing with 226 carries for 951 yards (4.2) and 14 touchdowns. Also caught 25 passes for 194 yards. . . . "He's a natural athlete with quick, smooth feet and good lateral quickness," one scout said. "More of a grinder-type back. Not as powerful as he should be for his size. Needs to show more consistent toughness."

    Tra Boger, S, Tulane: 6-0, 210, 22, from Decatur, Ga. . . . Started 30 of 50 games over five years. Received a medical redshirt for 2004 after suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 2. . . . Finished with nine interceptions, seven forced fumbles, two sacks and 10 tackles for loss. . . . Intercepted two passes in the Las Vegas Classic in January.

    Josh Bourke, T, Grand Valley State: 6-6?, 320, 23, from Tecumseh, Ontario. . . . Started at right tackle in 2002 and at left tackle in '03 and '05. Sat out '04 after suffering a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament. . . . "He's a big body with toughness and nasty," one scout said.

    Shermar Bracey, RB, Arkansas State: 6-1?, 225, 23, from Pine Bluff, Ark. . . . Backup for his entire time in college. . . . Finished with 271 carries for 1,459 yards (5.4) and 15 touchdowns in three seasons, including a personal-best 699 in '05. . . . Spent two years at a junior college but didn't play. . . . Has been clocked in 4.59 and scored 10 on the Wonderlic.

    A.J. Cooper, TE, North Dakota State: 6-1?, 240, 22, from Phoenix. . . . Played two seasons for Bison after two seasons at Glendale Community College. . . . Caught 24 passes for 473 yards (19.7) and four touchdowns as a senior playing in a West Coast-style offense. In 2004, he caught 23 for 285 (12.5) and three touchdowns.

    Tim Goodwell, LB, Memphis: 6-0, 230, 22, from Lithonia, Ga. . . . Backed up in 2002, played extensively in '03 and started in '04 and '05, leading the team in tackles both seasons. . . . Finished with 249 tackles (123 solo), including 21 for loss; seven sacks and one interception. . . . Has been clocked in 4.6.

    Montez Murphy, DE, Baylor: 6-5?, 260, 24, from East St. Louis, Ill. . . . Practiced in 2003 but didn't play. Started eight games in '04 and 11 in '05, then did well at the Hula Bowl. . . . Finished with 5? sacks, five forced fumbles and 14? tackles for loss.
