Both teams are going in looking to be 2-1. QBs: Jake Delhomme vs Gus Frerrote. Winner: panthers, Delhomme has more expreience RBs: Winner: Panthers have more depth with Foster, Davis and Goings. Davis had 3 TDs last week. Ronnie Brown hasnt proven he can do it yet WRs: Winner: Dolphins, Chambers, Booker and Boston are a good trio TEs: Winner: Dolphins, McMicheal(spelling) does good at catching the ball O-line: Winner Panthers, the panthers only allowed one sack against NE D-line: Winner Panthers, Peppers and Rucker make a great combo off the edge LBs: Tie, Dan Morgan, Junior Seau, Will Witherspoon, and Zach Thomas are all great LBs Secondary: Winner, panthers. Dolphins secondary is young, Ken Lucas look like a beast against NE Special Teams: Winner Panthers, John Kasey, Jason Baker, Chris Gamble, and Steve Smith all had HUGE games against NE
Don't think it's going to be an easy win. Saban knows how to get his team ready for big games. The Panthers looked good last week, but they still need to stay focused and not think of this game as a push over. The Dolphins may surprise them.
no way the dolphins have a chance. I think mike rucker and julius peppers are licking their chops over going up against some a bad o line

How do you figure Jake has more experience than Ferotte? He's been in the league for what 11 years? Even if he hasn;t played as much he's been in the environment.
Panthers win because Miami doesn't have a running game and Sabans system depends on the running game.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>no way the dolphins have a chance.</div> I really hope the Panther players feel this way. I wonder if Mike Shanahan or Bill Belichick would agree with you.

Jake Delhomme could start for other teams in the NFL. Ferotte could probly start for the bears and dolphins
I never liked matching up position by position. What you should do is match up Delhomme & Smith vs Miami DBs & pass rush. I think you'll find the results a lot closer. For instance I think the size of Miami's WRs will pose a problem for Carolina's DBs. On the otherhand the pressure put on Frerotte might negate that advantage. However, if Miami can get something going on the ground early it will be a close game for sure.
Yea isn't Miami at home. I still think Carolina wins but if Miami can establish a running game then they'll probably come out with the W. I just don't think it can happen against a good Panther D. Plus I picked them to win the Super Bowl so naturally I gotta go with them here. But Miami does have a chance in this game and they do matchup good with the Panthers.
Deuce Mcallister and Corey Dillion, 2 elite backs avged less than 3 yards a carry so im not really scared of the running game.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Deuce Mcallister and Corey Dillion, 2 elite backs avged less than 3 yards a carry so im not really scared of the running game.</div> Deuce still made his presence felt.
