Should be an interesting game, to say the least. I certainly think the Panthers have a shot to win it, but smart money's on the Patriots.

The Patriots should win this one, but I won't count the Panthers out. They have a fighting chance but they are playing against the best team in the NFL so I'm going with the Patriots, for two reasons. 1) Its the safe choice and 2) There is nothing I would like more than to see the Panthers start off the season at 0-2. I think the Panthers need this win. They want this win, REALLY BAD.

    Both teams have the skills.

It's up to who wants it more.

    My honest opion. Panthers

i think the panthers are gonna come out strong, unlike last week. They know they have to win and all that hype is gone now, so hopefully the will suprise a lot of teams now

I am sure it will be a close game, but I have to go with the patriots. when the dust clears from this season, coach bill will be known as the best coach to ever coach football.

With Jenkins out I don't think it will be a close game at all. Panthers secondary is average. Brady & Dillon will have a field day. Steve Smith is a great weapon, but the Pats secondary & coaching staff has familiarity with him from the SB. I expect a more concentrated effort in keeping him from hurting us deep.

    Prediction:

    Pats 27
    Panthers 17

What keeps me from saying the Pats win easy is the fact that the game is in Charlotte and its early in the season meaning it will be HOT...as long as fatigue doesn't become a factor I think we just have to many options on offense and if Ernie Conwell can make the beloved Thomas Davis look bad what can Graham and Watson do? Nevermind the loss of Jenkins will make stopping peppers & company that much easier. I'm not really scared of carolina's ground game and Steve Smith if definitely the guy to look out for but I think we win but it's a close one.

Thomas Davis is a great run defender but hasnt learned the to stop the pass yet. That is what Marlon Mcree is for and that sick hit on conwell

The Pats were rusty in the opener, yet they still won convincingly. So you can expect Brady to look sharper, the defense to focus on preventing any big plays & the OL to run block better.

Yea I picked the Panthers to take it all this year but the FACT is New England is the BEST team until proven wrong.

Yep, cuz the enigmatic 8-8 saints from last year, are comparable to the super bowl champ patriots. Patriots win easy

Deuce Mcallister and Corey Dillion are very similar, and we stoped Mcallister from running a long run

And Aaron Brooks picked you apart on third downs...what do you think brady is going to do? Nevermind a rookie RT handled "The Great" Julius Peppers...
