There is one two-part question that hangs over the Spurs’ offseason: Will franchise stalwarts Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili return for another run?

Point guard Tony Parker, at 33 the youngest member of the team’s championship-winning Big Three, thinks he has an answer.

“I think they’re both going to play one more year,” Parker told the Express-News on Wednesday.

Parker also admits this might be a bit of hopeful thinking on his part.

“I’m trying to be positive,” he said with a chuckle.

Parker doesn’t want to contemplate the end of an era that began when Ginobili joined him and Duncan in 2002 to form the winningest postseason trio in NBA history.
