And he really showed it against the Wizards. He scored a decent amount, but what really did it was him making through the game with no turnovers. I don't know about you, but that's simply damned amazing for a point guard. And he got a dunk. That was quite unexpected.
Yes, I seen him put down a two hand drop dunk before, He didnt slam it through he just went up of two feet, And two handed it real soft, No turnovers is AMAZING for a point guard in the NBA, I am point and i average 3.4 turnovers a game, Which i need to improve, I think this just shows the spurs are for real, Shows we mean business!
YUP! i saw the highlight on NBA fastbreak! it was my first time seeing him dunk... hehe everytime parker dunks, tim duncan gives him a hundred dollars and when tim makes a 3, parker gives tim a hundred.... hehe its like little bet they play...
Parker is improving a lot this season... his stats aren?t increased a lot just because he played injuried several times, but his shoots and him passing habilities are also better. In a few years he?ll become an all-star point guard.
Yes, I visited parker's offcial website and he tells that he likes the dunk but he can't do it everytime because it could be dangerous against these big players.l
I think Parker's ok, but a tad overrated...I think he makes a lot of indecisions, he's a streaky shooter but can be a liability, and he is not very good in the halfcourt...his quickness and open-court play are exceptional, but I kind of see a hint of selfishness in him, as if he's out to prove something...it may be just me, but I've never been a big fan, especially when Sean Elliott used to say how he was better than Steve Francis...
Sean Elliot is biased, you should know that, seeing that he's a former Spur. But for him to be in his sophomore year in the NBA (Ginobili, too) and playing so well is rather exceptional, especially after that issue with Jason Kidd over the playoff and off-season time. However, some nights, he has exceeded Francis in his game.
