can we get some support for this guy ,especially from hardcore magic fans,like for keeping "drews and tracys asses warm"[sportsrock] but seriously theres a lot behind this man,first irish player to make the L ,alot of euro players set there sites on the league and work towards that but not many make it.i hope he gets more time on court next season thats if hes there or he could be gone as i write this.there is a good standard in ireland and a its DREAM to make it to the league,first many international players that enter nba are either the best in the their country or near enough.seeing as burke is 6'10" i think,to have a chance at making the league you have to be tall for a start and outstanding for a team to bother and take you on. anyway pat accomplished it ,with players and stars coming through eg.lebron,no one may remember or recognise the players such as pat who went through alot[not that lebron or any player did nt,its just that being in the us increases your chances on making the L]

i suppose my main point here is to recognise the unrecognised,many players are sh*t in the L but worked hard to make it,as the top players in the draft flood in to the league,many players flood in unrecognised and their dreams of making the nba come true
i congratulate burke on making it to the league and hopefully he can find his way back into the leauge, but i don't think that he will.
i agree, just waive the guy. hopefully he can make it to another team, but he just won't do for the magic.
