    Miami Heat president Pat Riley has been selected as the NBA's 2010-11 Executive of the Year by the Sporting News.

    He scored the top three prizes in the summer free agency, put together a team that won 58 games, made it past the 1st round (and likely the 2nd), and that is going to contend for years to come.

    Not a bad choice.
