<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Trail Blazers President Steve Patterson on Sunday acknowledged discussions and the existence of a document that would return wages to forward Darius Miles that were lost in a recent two-day suspension. Reading from a teleprompter at the Rose Garden during halftime of the Blazers' 81-80 loss at Houston, Patterson likened the circumstance to one he undertook with guard Damon Stoudamire shortly after Patterson was hired by the Blazers in 2003. Stoudamire had been fined $250,000 and suspended after being arrested on an accusation of marijuana possession in Tucson, Ariz. "We had an intention to devise a plan with Darius, similar to that of Damon, where if he comported himself in a negative way, the length of the suspensions and the amount of the fines levied would drastically increase," Patterson said. "However, if he demonstrated a solid track record of positive behavior, that could possibly have resulted in a potential refund of the money. We never got any further than that. The dealings are still unresolved." </div> Source
