Amazing night 27 points and 13 assists. He had eight assists in one quarter. Do I hear rookie of the year? Hell I personally think this kid should be an all star not just ROY. Let?s see if the coaches vote him in. It?s a shame they did not even put him on the all star ballot.

Apparently the All-Star Ballots are made up before the season starts, or naturally Paul would be on the Ballot and most likely on the Team. He clearly is one of the top two or three PGs in the League and one of the top ten players in the League. He is the future. The question is will the NBA let the team stay a regional attraction or put it back in New Orleans?

I actually knew that the ballots where made before the season, but still don’t understand why Paul was not on it. Andrew Bogut is on the ballot despite this being his first year. The press or who ever makes up the ballot should definitely have put Paul on the ballot.

Better PGs: Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Chauncey Billups, Gilbert Arenas, Allen Iverson, Mike Bibby, Tony Parker, and Baron Davis.

8 better point guards alone, there are other great players at other positions: Kobe, Dirk, Amare, Shaq, Wade, James, Brand, Jermaine O'neal, and many, many others.

Chris Paul is good, yes he deserves all-star consideration, but you're hyping him up way to much right now.

Yeah, I am hyping him alot. But I think he deserves to be in the group you listed despite being a rookie and playing for the Hornets. Isn't his assist to TO ration about 3rd best in the whole League? And last I looked was top 3 in steals. Averaged about 23 points last week and 8 assists on a team that has a great chance of grabbing the last playoff spot. He's real good. But you have a good argument.
