Bad finger, bruised tailbone, bruised ribs and now a hurt shoulder.

The poor kid is having a horrible run.

Despite leaving the game and having his arm in a sling, when asked about whether he'd play in the rookie/sophomore game this weekend he said "I'm planning on it unless I wake up Friday morning and I can't walk,"

Such a tough kid, although i wish he'd just shut it down completely and rest properly.

warrior.......... this guys too tough why cant j.r. smith be like him? and it was really sweet of him scoring 61 for his grandpa in hs, after the first freethrow he had 61 and the second freethrow he just threw it out of bounds, then he started crying along with his family...... this guy is too nice

Makes me wonder why they let him play today.

What was to gain? They were playing the lowly Blazers so were always going to win. Such an unnecessary risk.

As for JR. He just needs some maturity, something CP3 has got in spades.

CP3 has to take the all-star break and rest instead for the rookie game.

B-Diddy is the man, theres no reason to be comparing Paul and B-Diddy. Paul is a completely different player but the comparison to AI because if toughness is justified, Paul is a warrior, he's had countless injuries and played through them all, players sat out weeks with injuries he played through. IMO he should've been an all-star looking at the Hornets record and his impact, I doubt anyone even remembers it was supposed to be JR Smith's team.

    Ain't No Diddy

Actually, this is a nice compliment to Chris Paul. Baron D. was shockingly talented when the Hornets got him, but he became shockingly self-absorbed,
or so it seemed to us mere mortalsl. No, I don't think there's any B-Diddy in Paul except for the basketball talent; but Paul is all about taking the Hornets as far as they'll go in the playoffs. He's like the Terminator. He just keeps coming and I hope the Owners will continue to keep the current chemistry and build on it with another unselfish star: a big dude like Duncan. Right now I think the team needs to pick up Dallas' big bench warmer, M'Benga, put him in for defense and as the recipient of several CP handoffs for some ugly MoBangas.

CP3 is becomming one of my favorite players in today's NBA he is everything this league needs. He is going to be such a star and I really look foward to seeing him in the future.
