<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Microphone in hand, Chris Paul surveyed the Ford Center from his pre-tip, mid-court post. A smile played on his lips. "How y'all doin'?" the Hornets' star point guard asked. The crowd roared. "Y'all ready?" It roared some more. "Good," Paul said, "because we are, too." Year Two of Oklahoma City's NBA adventure tipped off Tuesday night with a 97-93 victory against the Warriors, and plenty has changed. This squad looks nothing like it did a year ago. PJ Brown is gone. So are Speedy Claxton and Aaron Williams and The Birdman. But Chris Paul remains.</div> Source
Even with Peja shooting garbage from the field (32.7% FG), along with Desmond (34.1% FG), he's averaged 10.8 APG so far. If Peja can start hitting more shots, along with Mason they can add another 1 APG to Paul's numbers between them, and he could actually challenge for the APG leader if he maintains this.
What's impressed me the most thus far this season is that despite being a mere six feet tall. Paul is still shooting over 50% from the field and averaging a double double. The man is the future (present too) of the league at the point guard position.
