Pierce may think he is getting old, but we know Greg Oden isn't!

    What have the young guys proven other than that they can't win a game? The Celts need Pierce to be competitive.

    In the article it said "Pierce said jokingly" about this matter. It's not worth even putting any stock into that quote at all.

    No, I don't want the Celtics to trade Pierce ever if possible. I'd love for him to remain a Celtic for the rest of his career, actually.

He has been through numerous coaching changes and bad seasons in Boston and he has never missed a step. This is pretty much the only time in his career where he's missed 20 or so games because of an injury. He said in an interview with the globe earlier this year that he realizes he's in a rebuilding process and it will take time. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Pierce may think he is getting old</div>Like yankshater said, Pierce said that jokingly. Pierce is the last player to assume he's getting and old and giving up. This is the same guy who got stabbed 10 times and came back to have the best season of his career.
