<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Times-Picayune - Chris Paul, who finished a close second to Kobe Bryant in the NBA's MVP voting, said on Tuesday that the Lakers' guard is more than deserving of the award, according to The Times-Picayune. "It's a great honor," Paul said. "He deserves it. He had an outstanding year." "It's all about winning," Paul added. "The reason I was being mentioned was because our team was doing well. So as long as our team is doing well year in and year out, I'm satisfied with that."</div> link I agree, and I like Paul's sportsmanship and good team mentality. (Or at least the way he acts towards the media.)
The kids got a good head on his shoulders. At times, IMO, he can seem a little cocky. I hope he doesn't turn into a cocky player down the line. He'll have an MVP or two before his career is over.

Kobe acts cocky all the time, talking trash and flapping his jersey. As long as his ego doesn't get the best of him (which I don't think will happen), he'll be fine. As for Chris Paul, I really like his game. He definitely has a very bright future ahead of him, and I'm sure he will retire with at least 1 MVP award and a ring
I like Paul, a classy guy who also won't back down in a game. Great leader as well. He could join the Lakers and I'll like him more xP
This is the first year that I remember popping his jersey, though. Paul is great, don't get me wrong, but I want to see consistency from him before he develops an "elite swagger".
