Some insiders suggest that it is down to him and San Antonio Spurs assistant P.J. Carlesimo, who also interviewed with the New York Knicks. Silas is close to Timberwolves guard Sam Cassell. The Cavaliers owe Silas $4 million in each of the next two seasons unless he finds another coaching job. Former Cavaliers coach John Lucas interviewed for the job as well." Akron Beacon Journal</div>

    Great! Nice find, JWohl.

He has been my number one candidate for the job since the beginning.

Silas was my first choice for this job. I was hoping he would get the job, but I can't argue with this choice in Dwayne Casey. As for Silas, I hope he lands on his feet and I hope he coaches for an NBA team. Whoever is not hiring him is missing the boat. The guy is a great coach. Yeah he has had run-in with his bosses in New Orleans and Cleveland, but so what. The man wins and the players play for him.
