"I was kind of in his ear because they were going under his pick-and-rolls," said Jack. "The defensive scheme they use on Chris is what they used to do to (two-time MVP Steve) Nash, try to turn him into a scorer and not allow him to get everybody else involved. "You know him. He wants to get everybody else involved and then pick his spots. I told him, 'Hey, you're going to have to be a scorer for us tonight.'" Paul went on to score 11 of the Hornets' last 15 points of the quarter as New Orleans seized control and went on to a 93-86 win over Atlanta on Sunday night at the New Orleans Arena in front of 15,626, the second-largest crowd of the season. Paul scored 13 of his 22 points in the third period as the Hornets held Atlanta to 15 in the quarter. The Hornets followed that up by limiting the Hawks to 16 in the fourth, a 31-point half that meant the difference between winning and losing.
