Bulls general manager John Paxson hasn't bothered to hide his growing frustration with forward Eddie Robinson this summer.

But when asked Thursday if the team tried to force the issue by fining Robinson, Paxson would not confirm or deny the story and was unsure if or when he would comment on the subject.

According to a source, the Bulls have fined - or at least threatened to fine - Robinson $50,000 for a lack of communication. A few weeks ago, Paxson said Robinson has not returned any of his phone calls.

Robinson's agent, James Bryant, also did not deny the story, but he tried to put a positive spin on Robinson's relationship with the Bulls.

"Those are management-player issues," Bryant said. "I try to stay out of that. There have been no formal proceedings."

just because he's busy with his family doesn't mean he can't communicate with the Bulls and tell them what's going on. [IMG] we'll never be able to get rid of him

this sun times article says he was fined $50,000:

that's the best chance for him, if pippen straightens him out.

at the beginning of the season, I liked E-Rob too, but it's really frustrating as a fan, to see him with that huge contract, and he does nothing. i really hope Pippen can help him too. [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Andrew:</div><div class="quote_post">Pippen should be able to straighten him out. But if he doesnt, hit the road.</div>

How? No team would trade for him. He is a 6 million dollar player. And undeserving of it.

I have lost hope. Pippen will have little to no effect on him. Not bec. of Pippen, but bec. ERob is just not been known for work ethic.

What I do hope, is Pippen rubs off on the rest of the players on our team.

ERob is 27. He has had plenty of time to prove something.

good point. the bulls will never be able to get rid of him.. he's not that bad off the bench, but i dont like the idea of a $6million bench player. i've read that Pat Riley was interested in him at one point. Maybe the Heat will want him [IMG]

That would be nice if we could dump him on the Heat.........

But the Heat would have Rasual, Caron, and Eddie Jones all ahead of him at the wing(Wade at the PG.........wouldn't take minutes from ERob, since ERob would be at SF/SG)

    3 players ahead of him.

96 minutes at SG and SF

Caron and Eddie would take 65 or so minutes

    Rasual would take 20.

That would leave ERob with 11. Not worth paying 6 million per for 11 min/game.

We wont be able to dump him unless we part with
    1. Crawford
    or
    2 Curry
    or
    3.Chandler
    or
    4. 1st round pick

    1-3 are unlikely............

    4 has a possibility
