Stojakovic took advantage of the early termination clause in his six-year deal and became a free agent in hopes of getting a raise and long-term contract, his agent said.</div>www.sports.yahoo.comI wonder who will pick him up....Denver is a team that might be interested, they need someone who can simply score to go along with Carmello's great play. That's one of the only teams I could see picking him up that could really use him for what he is, a one-dimensional scorer.
I agree that Denver could be a great fit, but are they willing to spend the money? They might need to deal K-Mart and relieve some cap space before they can think about offering anything. Peja was set to get over $8M next season, and he thinks he can get more. I don't think Denver has that kind of money to spend. They should focus more on locking up Melo.
