Oct 17 - Coach Byron Scott said he expects Peja Stojakovic to be ready by the Oct. 31 opener against the Sacramento Kings. But he likely will limit some of his practice work in the preseason to avoid any setbacks.

"You have to handle him a little different because of the magnitude of the surgery," Scott said. "We knew obviously that he wasn't going to be in the greatest shape coming into camp. We also knew that we were going have to give him some time off, so he wouldn't be going every day."

"I just feel like in the last couple of games, all my muscles, especially the little muscles that go into my back, are waking up," Stojakovic said. -- New Orleans Times-Picayune

I really dont think that Peja will play the majority of this season. We sure did pay a lot for that back of his.
