I'll give Chad credit. He seems to have improved his mechanics & he's always giving it his all out there on the field.

i think comeback player award is realistic if he can keep himself on the field all season

Pennington will be even better next year when they draft Adrian Peterson, or another RB. With a steady running game, he can control the game and make smart plays. The offensive line is much improved, and D'brick will be a great tackle for years to come.

I knew he would be good thats why i picked him in the 16th round of our keeper league.

LOL. If they get peterson i would be shocked. They have already won more games than oakland and detroit will win all season. They probably wont pick top 5, so he is out of reach

They arent picking A. Peterson....the Jets are just good enough to tease thier fans all year but not good enough to actually contend....they will hover around .500, winning some they shouldnt and losing some they should, but in the end they finish in the 7-9 t0 9-7 range, several games out of the playoffs and several spots out of the top 10 of the draft....I did say Fergeson/Mangold in the 1st round was the best round of any team in the draft and if the Texans had traded Reggie Bush to the Jets for those 2 spots and picked those 2 players, they would be mush improved....

yea the Jets wont be top 10 of the draft but maybe they'll find a late running back like the Pats did with Maroney or the Panthers did with DeAngelo. The Jets did have a real good draft hopefully they'll do the same thing next year... the foundation of a team is the offensive line

I could see them taking a chance on Michael Bush if he enters. I liked Bush a lot and he should drop because of his broken leg. I thought he could go top 10 before the injury. Now I think 10 to 20 range and that's probably where the Jets will be picking.

Marshawk Lynch of Cal is another guy to watch as is Kenny Irons of Auburn. I'm still not sold on the Jets quite yet because of Pennington goes down then I think their season is over but if he stays up they should win 7 or 8 games which would be great considering the expectations.

I only wish the Packers had coaching like that. :crying:

yea Mangini has worked out well so far hes really gettin the Jets ready to play, idk about Mike McCarthey though over there in Green Bay.

Michael Bush would probable be a great pick for the Jets hes going to drop because of the leg like you said the Jets biggest need would definatly be RB right now and MBush would be great for em its kinda like the Willis McGahee pick where he got his knee dominated but the Bills still took him late first he owuld have been top 5 if it werent for that injury.

I completely agree with you on that one...Those are the two or three that definately are gonna be possible...If they are left at the 15th or 17th pick then the Jets will be very lucky!I think it is plausable that they trade up to get Michael Bush....

Will someone please call Nick Saban and tell him that?

They were saying on the game last night (L'ville vs Middle Tennessee St.) that it would be in the best interest of Bush to come back next year. Further, he might be better suited to be a TE/H-back @ the next level.

i've been saying that a lot and i really believe it the oline is the most important

with an oline you have pass protection which gives you the foundation of a pass attack and you have run blocking and even if you dont have an LT type back the guy can find the holes. The Jets havent developed the run attack yet but i think soon they will
