Would the nets technically be able to move to Newark for just a couple of years and then make the jump to Brooklyn. If possible, the question of whether to stay in IZOD or move to Newark seems like it should be a business no-brainer.

If it's being built and is one season away from completion no one is going to give a shit. At that stage it's not like it won't be built.

Yeah right. You would think they'd just fold and let him build the thing already.

They fought the good fight, but they're not going to overturn a supreme court ruling.

They must have a sweetheart deal with the Izod to stay in that craphole for three more seasons when a gorgeous state of the art arena is a mere 10 miles away! Whatever money they lose in the deal with Izod they would probably make up for in attendence. It is a stupid stupid move by mgt.

As for the Barclays - the opponents filed now in state court- will they lose - probably - but the suit will have to go through the process up to the NJ Supreme court and that is going to take at least another year - so don't believe the Rat hype - if he can still afford it by then the earliest you are looking at for the new arena is actually 2012 - and I will believe it when I see construction - in this new economy the money is just not there.

Move them to Newark and go 50/50 with the Devils ala Jets/Giants - plus Newark is willing to give Rat some real estate deals on the side - win/win -

I'm telling you guys Brooklyn is no lock!

For that to happen the Devils have to buy the Nets. Ratner isn't selling the Nets anytime soon.

Brooklyn's a better lock than Newark
