I'm not going to overreact because he says making the O sign, borders on unsportsmanlike conduct. My guess, players will be able to get away with this at home, but not on the road. I just hope it goes all ways equally...ASU w/ the fork sign, Beavers with their nasty, dirty buck-teeth. I also don't think things like this should be isolated to one conference -- Gators with the chomp...Texas with the horns... http://www.kval.com/sports/129626348.html
sorry Targus just had to edit the title. Nothing personal. I know you arent being homophobic or anything
Pereira is really happy and giddy because his name sounds like the limp-wrist, over-priced, French bubbly water. LOL.
but yeah now that I've read the article, I am tempted to change to thread title back to what it was! (not really but I agree it is laaaaaaaame)
Apparently the guy has nothing better to do with his time other than worry about a Duck playing showing an O with his hands after a TD. So, where does it end? A player can't fist pump? Can't hold up one finger? All this PC crap (not wanting to "offend or hurt someones feelings") has to stop somewhere. I get the gestures like throat-slashing, pointing at an opponent, etc...but, somewhere it has to end. For me personally (if you've sat near the front row/EZ/or had sideline passes) I'd rather see him go after all the cursing and trash talking that is directed at someone, instead of showing a schools symbol. Maybe we should encourage players to apologize after they score a TD, and write an apology letter to the opposing team, coach and fans. Lame and borderline giddy.
