Sorry, I just had to air this out: I've always had a pet peeve against people who root for two teams in the SAME SPORT! I noticed there are a TON(And I mean a TON) of people in these forums who root for 2 or more teams? All I want to ask them is: WHY?!!?!?!? And it's always one Contending team and one lottery team.LOL I live in L.A and I could easily root for the Lakers since they are(were) the 3-time defending champs just 2 years ago but I've loved the Magic since Day 1 and will continue to stick with them even in their darkest years(currently). The beauty of sports and rooting for ONE team is that when/if they finally win a Championship it's even more sweeter and enjoyable. I also have friends who root for 2 teams and it kills me when they say: "So-so didn't make the playoffs but my other favorite team did so I hope they win it all." What?!?! **wrings their neck** Root for one team!! That's why I love Cubbies and Red Sox Fans. They haven't won in decades but when/if they do it's gonna be the greatest moment of their lives. So to those of you who are gilty of this: ROOT FOR ONE TEAM!! YOU"LL ENJOY IT MORE!!
Thanks for the advice, now go take your medication Just playin, but many people have different reasons for liking two teams at once. For me I liked the Lakers ever since I could remember watching basketball. But once the Raptors came to Toronto they became my home team and I rooted for them as well. As much as you'd like to think that I was rooting for one lottery team and one playoff bound team, both of my teams were gonna make the playoffs this year had it not been for the Raptors sudden fall in the standings. Have an open mind about things and maybe you wouldn't be bothered by such small issues.
