Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning practiced Thursday and took his usual workload, but for a moment, coach John Fox almost wrote a top story in the day's news cycle. As he was reading the Broncos' injury report after practice, Fox said, "Peyton Manning, did not participate." But before even seconds had passed and Twitter had exploded, Fox realized what he just said. "No, I'm sorry. ... I was on the wrong day. I'll move over a column," Fox said with a smile. "Full [participant]." It was business as usual for Manning, who was held out of his first practice as the Broncos' quarterback Wednesday because of a minor ankle injury. Manning took his usual snaps with the starters and will play Sunday against the Washington Redskins. "I thought he looked fine," Fox said. "He was good.
