Why not bringing back Tierre Brown? www.minorleaguenews.com/basketball/aaa/nbdl/lowgators/articles2004/031504.html He did good in summer leagues. Detroit and Dallas B
article states his 3 point shot is sub-par... that right there tells me he probably won't be making the team.
What's the big deal with the PG issue? Can't Tyron Lue just run the point? If something happened to him, or something, please don't bash me, i didn't hear anything.

It's basically that for a team with high expectations for next season, Lue is inadequate as a starter at point guard, especially since that position is extremely weak right now with only Lue, Wilks and Gaines under contract.
I think a good PG right now is Troy Hudson. He's having problems with the t'wolves and want to sign withe the Hawk. So I think Houstan should try to get him.
Unless the Rockets have some secret deal under the table that is date sensitive, I think they're gonna go into camp with Lue as their starter and then maybe sign Charlie Ward or Mark Jackson, and have Gaines develop slowly under their guidance...

Sura looked revamped last season as a Hawk, and has the size and experience needed to be a starter under JVG. Ward also provides an experienced mentor to Gaines and Wilks. I guess with this, Mark Jackson will not be returning. But good news nonetheless!
