    Has anybody here read "The Last Season" by Phil Jackson?

    In the book he openly admits to playing these kind of mind games with his players. When they would go on a 5 game road trip he would say something like "It'd be nice if we could win 4 of these games, but I think you guys can only win 3, so lets set that as our goal." That would motivate his players to prove him wrong.

    That is exactly what he is doing with these comments. Phil would love to win 70 games.
