Not gonna do one of those nice previews or whatnot. Game has already started. Both teams looks pretty bad and sloppy. Amare hasn't played well at all. When he was on court, you could tell Phoenix didn't know how to utilize his screens and just looked lost. He made some nice moves in post, but couldn't finish.
48-39 Clips with a few minutes left in 2nd. One other thing I have noticed in every game with Amare is that when the ball goes up for the other team, instead of staying down low to rebound, he starts running down the court. My guess is to keep up with the flow and get some easy baskets, but he HAS to stay down low. Clips are really killing them on the offensive boards.
Nitro, Celticballa already made a thread with a preview for this in this Suns forum right below this one.As for the game, it sucked. I will blame the ball for part of this just because I can. The Suns have complained a lot about it and their shooting has really been off but they'll get used to it eventually. Amare didn't play well at all but he will do better. Banks has been a huge disappointment. I don't know what to think about him yet. Maybe Jalen Rose will take his spot on the rotation instead of Jones' spot if Banks doesen't improve. We'll see. 3 days to prepare for San Antonio. Diaw was playing a little better but still looks overweight or "out of sync" whatever you want to call it.
Oh but I have to say, one bright spot was Kurt. His rebounding really helped, not only the Suns but my fantasy team as well. He made half his shots and finished with 15 and 12. Nice game by him.
