The Suns selected the best shooter in Thursday's NBA draft by selecting Kentucky shooting guard Devin Booker. After ranking last in the NBA for 3-point shooting percentage after the All-Star break and trading deadline, the Suns took an 18-year-old sharpshooter who came off the bench on a star-studded Kentucky team. "I'm loving it. Big Blue Nation everywhere. I wouldn't want it any other way," Booker told ESPN immediately after the selection. "At Kentucky, we had a really talented team. I fit in really well with the team. I found my niche. On the next level, I know I'm going to have to create more for myself. I think I'm already surprising people a little, athleticism. I guess, stay tuned." Booker, the youngest player in his draft class, shot 41 percent from 3-point range in becoming the SEC Sixth Man of the Year. Booker averaged 10.0 points in 21.5 minutes per game. At 6 feet 6 and 206 pounds, Booker proved to be a better athlete and more well-rounded athlete at the draft combine and team workouts. He posted the fastest lane agility time at the combine last month. - See more at: http://www.azcentral.com/story/spor.../29301443/?from=global&sessionKey=&autologin=
