Now that the Boys are short 1 QB will they call Hutch back in since camp is upon us and he already is familiar with the offense? I hadn't heard anything along these lines. I just thought it might make sence now from a depth perspective.
Isn't Phil Simms still available? They have the rookie Henson (former Yankee) and the second year guy Romo (did he ever take a snap last season?) on the roster to back up 40-year old Vinny. Man, that doesn't sound so good. I think you are right, they had better make some calls.

Hutch was so pissed off when he left that I think he will look at every other option first before considering going back to Dallas. The Cowboys know that, so I think they will probably see how camp goes and who else becomes available before making that decision to consider Hutch.
What about Charlie Batch, I think he's a backup in Pittsburgh, I think Steelers would listed if Cowboys call. I think that would be a good idea for them to follow. I would not put my hopes of Vinny and Drew.
Its doubtful at best that any help will be found until around or even after the last cuts are made and final league rosters a solidified. If Henson looks good in the game this weekend then help may not be necessary. Especially if the O-Line steps up and pass protects. If so we should see Hensons talent showcased. He has a big league arm for sure. So did Hutch though.
