The ump blew a call horribly costing the Yankees a run, and the guys in the box mention it and move on. Later in the game, the ump blew a call that gave the Yankees a run, and they harp on it and go on and on about about it for the next 3 innnings, literally.

Dont know about the Anti-NY but the refs are humans and they do make mistakes. Sometimes for you and sometimes against you. Game 1 for the Mets, soriano came home and lo duca tagged him but he dropped the ball. The ref didnt see it and the mets won by one.

It was a wash.I was talking about the announcers going on and on about the bad call in NY's favor while pretty much ignoring the bad call that cost them AT LEAST 1 run.

The same thing happened on Sportscenter that night, they covered the bad call that helped NY, but not the one that hurt them. You know the station hates the Yankees when they:1. Put the Yankees "On Trial" for "Ruining Baseball."2. Devote not 1, not 2, but 3 full segments to the Yankees in one 1 hour airing of Sportscenter all 3 calling the Yankees "The Evil Empire" and describing George Steinbrenner as "Evil" and that he "Ruins the sport of Baseball."3. Are located in Connecticut, which is Boston's territory. Any and all Red Sox fans hate the Yankees.4. Devote entire segments to the bright shining light of: a. The Red Sox's GM b. The Red Sox "breaking the curse" c. David Ortiz being the MVP5. Constantly talk about the Yankees' payroll, but never once mention that the Red Sox are the ONLY team to have ever bought a Championship.6. Mention every Yankees' losing streak greater than 3 games, but "forget" to mention when they have winning streaks longer than 8 games.etcetcetc

Pre-T.O. that is....But your absolutely right. You either love em or hate em...and I hate em. Go METS! lol

The Yankees are evil. The Red Sox are my favorite AL team, so I hate the Yankees somewhat. Their fans are rude and obnouxus as well.

Fact is that they used the 2nd most homegrown talent (qualified by 35 AB's or 20 IP's) in the entire MLB last year (second only to the Braves). The year the BoSox won the world series, they were Dead Last in Homegrown talent.Who "bought" themselves a Championship? It wasn't the Yankees.

Yankees are evil. End of story. Their fans do obnouxous things. Like that fan who won the right to name the Fleet Center for a ay. WHat's he do, he names it the "Derek Jeter" center.

You have no idea what it takes to be a Yankee fan in this day and age. Everyone thinking you are either a bandwagoner, an asshole, or an idiot. When you tell people who you're a fan of, they look at you in disgust and feel a need to give you their personal regurgitation of what Jim Rome said last week.

^^^^ haha smoothand seriously, if you are a true Sox fan (grew up in boston, etc) then i respect ur opinion of hating th yankees, since weve whooped ur ass thousands of times. But if r just some other team fan who also hates the yankees because thats whats popular, then your the asshole.and the whole jeter stadium thing, if a Sox fan ever got hold on naming rights on Yankee Stadium or MSG, they would probably name it YankeesSuckJetersGay Stadium....so that isnt even a viable thing to throw at us

It is like that in every sport with any team that is good. I have been a colts fan for 11 years, but people still say shit like you are complaining about. I have been a Duke fan since i popped out of the womb. think of the shit you get for that one.
