According to hoopshype this trade was being discuussed by the Celtics and the Blazers earlier in the spring. It's dead now. It was just interesting to know that it was discussed.http://www.hoopshype.com/rumors.htm
Well, they were the main pieces in the discussion. Danny Ainge has never made any secret that anyone is fair game for the right price. This one would have been an monumental mistake on his part, had the talks gotten serious, but thankfully, they never did. Portland can keep Randolph and his off court criminal problems. If Ainge is truly going to rebuild the C's, then you start with character and Randolph's is questionable, to say the least.
very interesting idea. but as hagrid stated above i think this would have been a huge mistake for the c's. But pierce and the blazers would have straight dominated.
