I like that Pierce made that statement about how that's "only something people in LA would think, That's Hollywood!" He's purposely building up drama for Christmas day, I love it.
The drama will end at exactly 5 PM eastern, when the Celtics start brutalizing the Lakers right away.
It will suck if the Lakers "get lucky" and beat us on Christmas day and then end up claiming that they own us. (we'll tell them again that they're wrong in june) GO CELTICS!!! PIERCE 4 MVP!!!
Well Ill admit I expect the C's to kick the Lakers ass Xmas day unless the Lakers get there shit together real quick...Its a good thing that game really means next to nothing in the big picture
I think Sasha is still having nightmares about Ray Allen... It's going to be interesting to see how the Lakers match up defensively. Rondo is playing a lot better this year. Obviously Fisher will match up with him, Kobe will demand to guard Pierce, so Vlad will be covering Ray? Ray is their leading scorer, and will probably have a big game since he will be guarded by a crappy defender the whole game. I think that Eddie House and Farmar match up well. Tony Allen coming in off the bench is going to kill the Lakers, and Pau is going to get absolutely shut down by the Celtics big men, even more so for Bynum. He tends to get frustrated when he doesn't get calls, and he definitely won't get any in Boston.
You want out of the bet? Here are my terms for letting you off easy: 1) I get to wear the Alba sig. As well as you. 2) You have to use 'Pierce >> Kobe' as your user title, and use nothing in your sig or avatar to dispute it Part 1 will be in effect until the Lakers and Celtics next meeting. Part 2 will be in effect until New Years Day Do you accept?
I know this post wasn't directed at me, but the reason I brought T.Allen up is because I don't believe that the second unit will be very effective at guarding him. Sure Ariza has been playing well, but will be be able to stick T.Allen?
LA is winning because of one player and we all know who that is. (same for the Cavs) But it won't get either team that far, when they're facing the Celtics.
Take away Bynum and Gasol, and you have a whole different team. To be quite honest, same thing could be said about Boston. Take away KG, and poof.
