Only one outing but impressive. At least it's positive. What if Manny B, Pineda, Nova, and Tanaka all had a good year. I can dream, but what if???

...some are concerned about the SP, I'm not. I mean even though they may not have a shut down ace, they do have 5-6 pretty damn good starters. The offense should be MUCH better than last year and they also added more speed and better defense.

...I'm also not really concerned with the closer role. Mo will always be a Yankee legend and we'll likely never see another like him but last year he was a mere mortal on a farewell tour. He pitched well at times but his numbers were falling off from his prime and he flat out blew 7 games...I have to believe Robertson (last year's numbers were better than Mo's) can do at least that well.

...I realize they are in a very competitive division, and though I doubt they'll win 100 games, I do believe that they are better than the 85 games many "experts" have predicted.

Completely agree & I'm still sticking by my prediction of 92-95 wins & the division. Fuck the wild card.
