<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "NBA.com":</div><div class="quote_post">Scottie Pippen had all intentions of starting on Wednesday night?s game against San Antonio, but after awakening on Wednesday morning with substantial buildup of fluid in his left calf, plans soon changed. The buildup of fluid is an apparent side effect from the March 18 surgery he had on his left knee.

"See, they don't even look alike," Pippen said, lifting up his sweats to show his calves. "I don't know what happened. I worked out yesterday, and today my calf muscle flames up with a lot of fluid. Once it occurs, it's bad, because the fluid just lingers, and it makes my calf so tight that I can't even run." Pippen encountered the same problem last week, but involved less pain and less fluid buildup.

"I have been pretty good. I had been looking forward to playing tonight," Pippen said. "I was really looking forward to being activated. Yeah, I'm worried about it," Pippen said. "I would like for it to get better. I think it will, over time, but it worries me a little bit that it's not ready like I wanted it to be."

Since Pippen has been sidelined the Blazers have been 7-8 in the last 15 games, with only four games left in regular season games. With a positive outlook Pippen will soon get past his knee troubles and assist his teammates in their final games and in the fastly approaching NBA playoff's. </div>

With I saw this article I feared the worst for our team. Pippen was our best player this season, he shouldn't of been, but he was. When Mo Cheeks put Pippen back at PG I knew things were soon going to get better. That was the best move by any coach this year, hands down. We need Pip, he makes the Blazers a better team, and he would be the key to advancing in the playoffs.

Your right but I think Sheed has been better than Pip throughout the season. Dont get me wrong the Blazers need Pip more than Kobe needs Shaq though.

I drove past the hillside where Chuck Palahniuk threw out his tonsils today...

*For the record that's the guy that wrote Fight Club, I just read his book where he mentions where he threw them, and that spot is the hill behind Burlingame Fred Meyer...
