Realizing that they may have to eventually settle for the likes of Ira Newble, Chicago is still trying to sign former Bull Scottie Pippen, who is looking for the mid-level exception and a post-playing position. The Bulls won't offer him any form of minority ownership, but the Chicago Sun Times is reporting that GM John Paxson might offer him an assistant GM position after the season ends.
Scottie could teach the young players some and be the leader of the team but if I was him I would rather want to go to the Lakers.
^ yea L.A. is a bettr fit for him if he wants one more championship he he wants to teach young players then chi-town is the spot
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pippen was Portland's best point guard, but they may not retain him. It's unlikely he'll be offered more than the $4.6 million exception anywhere else, and the Lakers reportedly aren't interested in Pippen anymore. </div> -chicagosports.com. if that's true, it's good news for the bulls
pippen should sign Pip would definitely be a good role model for all the youngens the bulls have. They probably all grew up watching him win his championships and know he could get him there. He is also one of the best all-around players that have ever played the game. lata
