<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Scottie Pippen and former Bulls general manager Jerry Krause apparently think alike.

Asked to assess the chances of making his preseason debut tonight against Milwaukee, Pippen replied, "Slim and none. Slim, where are you going?"

At first, it seemed like a reference to Krause's comment during the summer, when he said on the radio that the chances of Pippen returning to the Bulls were "slim and none, and slim just left town."

But Pippen insisted he never heard about Krause's prediction, then admitted he does hope to take the floor tonight at the United Center.

"I'll probably play," Pippen said. "I'm fine. My health is good."

Tyson Chandler aggravated a sore back and is doubtful for tonight's contest. Eddie Robinson practiced Friday and should play.

Jalen Rose, meanwhile, wore an even smaller brace on his injured right thumb. He is hoping to play in the Bulls' final preseason game Thursday.

The article also mentions that Roger Mason, Jr. has been shooting particularly well during the last three games, and that Jamal Crawford is ranked first in assists and fourth in scoring, and 2nd in minutes among preseason leaders.
