I went to reserve the Xbox 360 at EB Games and the guy said something about not getting any Xbox 360's shipped to them till February. So now he said he has the pleasure of calling all of those people who reserved it and telling them it won't be coming. I hope they scream at him. I'm just so pissed that I couldn't reserve it...
My friend gave up all his old xbox games, system and controllers for a future purchase of the 360. It'll be waiting for him at best buy the day it comes out. I'm thinking of doing that but I still want to know:a. the priceb. can you play old xbox games on it?c. when exactly does it come out? I hear christmas, 2 weeks, all kinds've dates.

Xbox 360 component HD AV Cable, Xbox 360 Hard Drive, Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote, Xbox 360 headset, Xbox 360 wireless controller2. Xbox 360 Core system-$299.99This has none of the features the Xbox 360 unit has. However, I think you can buy some of them seprately. They both include Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, an Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable, Xbox 360 Rechargable Battery Pack, Xbox 360 Memory Unit, Xbox 360 S-Video AV Cable, and an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking AdapterIn a poll I've recently seen most people are going to buy the Xbox 360 Unit or wait for the PS3 price to be revealed. It is coming out two days before Thanksgiving and if you get the Xbox 360 unit I think because it has a hardrive you can play old games on it.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere you can play old games on it. I think I'm going to trade in all of my old XBox stuff too and start from scratch with the 360. The cheaper seems more reasonable, because, it's cheaper.
yep hes right. n yeah u need the harddrive to play the old xbox games on it (for me basically to play halo 2 so they're basically suckering u into buying the $399 package.. butim gettin that anyway so it don' matter to me. oh and as time goes on, many of the things that u get with the $399 package that u dont get with the core package, will become available to buy (some right off the bat, others no...) over time..

Once they see that they aren't making as much money when it first came out they will add those features.
This is gunna be my first time buying an Xbox. I'll probably get it around christmas and hoping to get Madden and Live with it too.
