<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AUBURN HILLS, Mich. ? Last year the Pistons ran the gauntlet in March when they played 11 of their 17 games on the road. This year the going gets rough early when they?ll open with eight of their first 10 games away from home. The home season starts on a Sunday when the Atlanta Hawks visit The Palace of Auburn Hills on Nov. 4 after opening the regular season with a back-to-back set of games in Florida, Nov. 1 at Miami and the next night at Orlando. The Pistons take their first extended road trip of the season in the season?s second week, getting their first glimpses of Greg Oden and Kevin Durant, the top two picks in June?s NBA draft, in the process. Detroit starts the trip against Durant and Seattle on Nov. 11, visits Oden and Portland two nights later and wraps up the five-game trip with games at Golden State, the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento. The Pistons play 20 sets of back-to-back games next season, down from their league-high 22 of a year ago, and will play 26 of their 41 home games on weekends ? 13 on Fridays and 11 on Sundays.</div> <div align="center">Source: Pistons.com</div>
