Keys to the Game

    Detroit Pistons:

[*]Guard Crawford and stop him from taking open shots (He has been playing well recently and can hit shots when needed)
[*]Keep playing (The Pistons are on a winnig streak. They need to keep playing like they have been)
[*]Play Larry Brown's style of basketball/Spread the ball around (The Pistons have started doing this to go on the streak. They need to keep playing Larry's style of basketball)
[*]Make open shots (The Pistons have been shooting a better percantage recently because they have been making open shots. This needs to stay the same)
Chicago Bulls:

[*]Score in the paint (The Piston's defense has destroyed teams in the paint recently and the Bulls need to overcome this to win)
[*]Take good shots (If the Bulls get a good look at the basket, take the shot because they won't have another good look for a few quarters  )
[*]Take the ball out of Billups' hands (Billups is playing well and the Bulls can't afford him to pick apart their defense)
[*]Rebound (If the Pistons dominate the boards, the Bulls have no chance. The Bulls need to try to grab every rebound possible.)
PyroManiac's Prediction
All right, Pistons are on a solid winning streak. The old 100 point streak is over, but a new one begins tonight. To have any chance, the Bulls need Jamal Crawford to have a excellent night. Scottie Pippen is off of the injured list but I don't think he'll contribute. Pistons win and continue the streak.

    Pistons by 12.

Great preview. Looks like Pistons are better in every starting spot. Pistons are rolling, 8 in a row, and Chauncey and Chucky are playing great of late. Big Ben is also on a roll, And I look from him to explode today. Pistons win easily 89-67

I say that this will be another one of those nail-biters but I think the Pistons can pull of the Win IMO. Pistons by 3.

As expected this game was pretty easy

    Pistons got the win 105-89

    Hamilton 24 points 7 rebounds 5 assists
    Billups 17 points 5 rebounds 7 assists
    Wallace 12 points 17 rebounds
    Prince 14 points 7 rebounds 7 assists

    Look at those all-round numbers.

Darko came in with 2 minutes remaining and got 1 free-throw to end the game.

Pistons win their 9th straight game.

    i agree.

those all-around team numbers are amazing.

basically, the numbers say that the whole team was hustling and sharing the ball.

TimFlem, didn't you learn to not go against the Pistons? Having a nail bitter against Chicago is just like losing to a good team. [IMG] Well, we won 105-89. Great game for Ben Wallace, Prince, Billups and Rip Hamilton. Basically, our whole team. [IMG] For the Bulls, Kirk Hinrich had a great game, 19 points and 12 assists.

I was a bit worried late in the 4th, when the Bulls narrowed the lead. Luckily, the Pistons stepped up and won. Why is it that teams double Darko? Just to piss of the winning team? I liked his defense today, he altered 3 shots in the 3 teams that he was on the defensive end. They didn't score on any of those shots, so he played well on defense.

Box Score and Recap coming shortly.

Quote:

Richard Hamilton and the Detroit Pistons didn't need much time to remove any drama from of their latest win.

Hamilton scored 24 points and Ben Wallace controlled the boards as the Pistons extended their winning streak to nine games with a 105-89 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Hamilton set the tone in the opening quarter, scoring 10 points as the Pistons grabbed the lead for good in the first minute of the contest and opened a 28-17 advantage after one period. They led by as many as 20 points in the fourth quarter en route to their seventh straight win over Chicago.

Wallace collected 10 of his 17 rebounds in the first quarter for the Pistons, whose winning streak is their longest since an 11-game tear from December 26, 1990-January 17, 1991.

Rookie Kirk Hinrich was one of the few bright spots for the Bulls as he scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting. But he could not help Chicago avoid losing for the sixth time in its last nine games.

    Recap Box Score

Damn ESPN is too lazy to make a recap. :P Good win for the Pistons, lets see long we can keep this streak going.
