    Pistons 76 - Nuggets 66

I reall thought the Nuggets would be able to put up a good fight, but the Pistons are destroying them. Melo started off bad and at one point missed a shot, grabbed his own rebound then missed a layup recovered the ball, got blocked by Ben recovered and got blocked again by Tayshaun. At least he got 4 offensive boards.

Melo has been extremely hessitant in going to the basket, but who wouldn't with the 2 Wallace's in their. Camby has been the only Nugget that is doing good, Boykins is off, but had his only make before the end of the first. Voshon has hit most of his, and Andre hasn't done that great.

I don't know the turnover numbers, but the Nuggets are turning the ball over like crazy. They need to come out strong in the 2nd half or this game will go down the drain.

Denver lost 97-66, but the really shocking stat is NO Nugget scored over 8 points... has anybody seen another game where nobody on a team scored in double figures for the whole game? I can't recall ever seeing a game where NOBODY on a team scored more than 8 points.

i really thought this was going to be a close game. i was thinking Carmelo would explode for 30+ points.

i think it was a case of Denver playing some really bad basketball (maybe uncharacteristic and unlucky) and Detroit playing very well.

Melo looked aggresive at first, taking the ball to the basket a few times. but after getting blocked 2-3 times, he seemed to get tentative and settle for the outside shot. even though he's got a good outside shot, i think he should have stayed aggresive on the drive.

    anyways, gg.

It was the first time itd happened since the shot clock was brought in in 54-55. Tonight was one of the worst team performances Ive seen from a proffesional team in a while and the playoffs pretty much ran away with that loss. The only way we can make them now is if Utah and Portland fall drasticaly in the stretch run.

Wow, that would be a bad time to be a Denver fan. Anyways, what has happened to them? They have just not been the same team since the All Star Break. It seems that their overall team youth and inexperience of playing together might finally be catching up to them. Though, I would really like to see them succeed and make the playoffs.

Yea it was a very bad game yesterday, but the Pistons also routed the Sonics today, the Pistons are scary. They had 12 games left against teams under .500 and 5 against teas over .500. Also 10 are at home and 7 away. This basically means they'll probably go about 12-5 in the stretch, maybe even better.
