    Pistons @ Sonics

Wasn't a thread so I might as well start one, game already started so no point doing a preview

    Sonics 4
    Pistons 12

6.45 left in the 1st quarter

Rip Hamilton is still missing while Ray Allen is out for Seattle because of the flu

We win. Good game, we set another record since the conception of the shot clock. Hold three straight opponenets under 70 points! I really hope this great defensive play (and offensive execution by the other team) carry over until the playoffs.

Sorry about having no preview, Supersonic made one before me and I asked him to post it in the Pistons forum too.

Pistons finish their west coast trip with a 4-1 record. Not too shabby. Of course, we didn't play any of the elite west coast teams, but wins are wins.

It's good to see our team starting to click. Hopefully Rip and Memo can make smooth transitions back into our line-ups.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Under first-year coach Larry Brown, the Detroit Pistons are playing record-setting defense.

Rasheed Wallace scored 18 points and the Pistons became the first team since the shot clock was implemented in 1954-55 to hold three consecutive opponents under 70 points with an 86-65 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Sunday night.

Ben Wallace had 12 points and 13 rebounds as the Pistons won for the seventh time in eight games. They're 7-3 since acquiring Rasheed Wallace in a trade with Atlanta.

Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points for the defensive-minded Pistons, who won 97-66 at Denver and 83-68 in Portland in their two previous games.

Got to love that tough defense, 3rd straight team held under 70 points. Another big performance from Sheed, he is settling in well.
