<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The All-Star break is arriving at a bad time for the Detroit Pistons. They would much rather keep playing. "We're playing some of our best basketball of the season," said Chauncey Billups, who scored 20 points along with Richard Hamilton, leading the Pistons past the Philadelphia 76ers 93-75 on Wednesday night. The Pistons won their fourth straight game. "We're playing for each other, like we did last season when we won the championship."

Meanwhile, Detroit held the league's leading scorer, Allen Iverson, to 23 points. Iverson, who scored a career-high 60 points, most in the NBA this season, on Saturday and then had 38 in his next game, was just 8-of-21 against Detroit's tight defense. Iverson also committed six turnovers.

Tayshaun Prince had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Pistons, and Ben Wallace contributed 10 rebounds. Rasheed Wallace added 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Antonio McDyess had 10 points and nine rebounds.</div>

    Recap

Pistons head into the all-star break on a 4 game winning streak all games which have been blowouts. 9-1 overall in their last 10 games and 13 games above 500. The champions look to be back.
