Keys To The Game

Pistons <ul>-Don't let the Bucks get out early. If you let them to get their fast break going you could be in for a long night. Watching Redd on the arc is a key factor in beating their team. If you give him open shots he will knock them down. Put pressure on him when he has the ball.Be best to put Prince on Redd to really give him a tough time in getting his shot up.

Stop Keith Van Horn from getting wide open jump shots from deep.attacking the rim.

The biggest factor of all for the Pistons is the backcourt of Hamilton and Billups needs to get their offense going whenever that normally happens as a team Pistons are very tough to beat. It's when they have off-nights the scoring can be really ugly
Bucks <ul>-Not letting the Pistons set up their defense is what the Bucks must try and do.It will be that much tougher if the Pistons get their defense set up with all the good defensive players on the team it is a must to get quick baskets through Mason,Redd,KVH and the point guards Williams and James.

The Bucks have a nice team of players who like to run, shoot and that don't like you to get into your stride on offense and defense. They have been known as a poor defense team over the last few years but coach Terry Porter it has improved

Taking it strong to the basket. Get Rasheed Wallace in foul trouble.
Game Thoughts

The Pistons came away with a big win on friday night at the palace, 78-77 over the Miami Heat without Ben Wallace who will still be out for another two more games. Rip Hamilton hit the game winner with 1.3 seconds left. In what was a huge win due to the recent struggles. Losing to the Bobcats and Cleveland. Heading into last night the Pistons were under 500, Larry Brown and the team will want to get that record back over 500 tonight. Even without Ben Wallace they should certainly do so even though they went through a tough game last night and this being a back to back.

i really, really hope that LB can give Darko just a few meaningful minutes this game.

LB said Darko looked like he "finally belonged" during the Miami game, so i hope LB can further bolster Darko's confidence by giving him some more minutes. god knows that Darko can't be worse than DC.

Is it me or are the pistons starting to become more and more like the championship laker teams, start slow and lose to bad teams. Thats what happened tonight, when they got the lead they couldn't get stops. Oh and the fact Mike Redd was unstoppable. If he lands on any contender, the league better watch out. The guy has an amazing shot which is impossible to block.

Being the defending champion is never easy... this is exactly what the Lakers went through in their recent three peat championship years... and you all thought they were being lazy and fat... making it to the top is always easier than staying there... it's interesting to me to see how the Pistons respond to this.

I am not worried about my Pistons, it's better that we get this type of play out of the way now rather than later. Anyway, does anyone know where I can find post game qoutes on this game please? Pistons.com no longer has them.
