The Detroit Pistons are one of five teams looking for a head coach at the moment and they’ve reportedly already reached out to a few different names. One of those names is former Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy, who has been in contact with the Pistons about their head coaching vacancy. According to Mitch Lawrence from the New York Daily News, Stan Van Gundy has indeed talked to the Pistons but talks reportedly didn’t make it very far due to the level of control Van Gundy is seeking. Per Mitch Lawrence: Stan Van Gundy has also been mentioned.
