Yeah Rip was really frustrated with Hinrich's defense all night. He took it out on Tyrus. I understand the first technical fouls on both players to avoid further conflict, but Rip continued to follow Tyrus around the court when Deng was trying to talk to him. He got in his face and talked trash and Deng just kept walking Tyrus away, Rip got the second T, but why give another technical to Tyrus for no reason? He has every right to be pissed with that he got ejected for no reason!

The Bulls were just too much for Detroit to handle tonight. Kirk was a man possessed on both ends of the floor and Deng had a massive second half of basketball. Gordon was quiet with only 2 dismal points, but what can you do? I really loved the energy and output that Sefolosha brought to the game as well, he was stellar in a starting role. He came out tonight like he was a regular starter and just played smart ball. Great game for both teams, but the Bulls were just too much down the stretch.

I'm still dumbfounded over Rip's reaction though, that was unlike him.

Pretty much with out Big Ben and Ben Gordon (foul trouble early). But Hinrich kept us in the game in the first half - and anyone who watched it will agree, he was on another playing level to anyone else for most of the game - and Deng picked it up in the 3rd.

Our defense was excellent - holding Rip to 3 points and Prince to minimal (not sure how many).

It was really a statement game for Chicago.

I did not hear about the Rip incident I will try and find an article on it. I do remember a meeting with the Bulls last season when Noicioni committed a flagrant foul on Rip.

Bulls are going to be tough for whoever they play in the post season. Although you gave got to think their lack of post options is in the end going to hurt them. I hope they get the 2nd seed and maybe meet the Pistons in the conference finals.
