<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers just want to play and talk basketball. When most people think about the Pistons facing the Pacers, however, they remember the brawl and bomb scares marring their games this season at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
"If it was just Indiana and Detroit, where you played four games during the regular season, like everybody else, it would've been fine," Pistons coach Larry Brown says. "My fear is people don't (talk about) that. I still hear about the trials. It's always being brought up.
"I just hope that the players and fans realize that's over. Let's learn from it and move on. But the way people are, I don't think that's going to be the case. People are going to show that ugly stuff on TV."
The Pistons will host the Pacers in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal Monday night, nearly six months after a brawl between Indiana players and Detroit fans that led to several players being suspended and 13 people being charged. The game also comes six weeks after an Indiana-Detroit game was delayed 1 hour, 25 minutes because of a phoned threat of a bomb in the Pacers locker room.
"All eyes will be on this series because of what happened," Detroit's Antonio McDyess says. "We just have to ... hope nothing like that ever happens again."</div>

    Great

I'm glad that both teams have taken responsibility for what happened and want to forget about the ordeal and move on. It shows great maturity on both parts.

The media has been blowing their playoff meeting up to where they almost expect another brawl to break out. The brawl was one of the worst things that ever happened to the game of basketball. I wish eveyone would stop bringing it up and move on.

    Agreed

What has happened between these two teams is in the past, and there is no way to change it. It doesn't have to happen again, however. There has been a lot of talk regarding this series about what has happened earlier in the season and what could happen now. But the players are trying to move on and play Basketball, which is great on their part.
