<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Pistons are looking to make a deal. Seeking to shore up their bench scoring, they are talking to several teams, and guard Bobby Sura could be bait. The Pistons acquired him during the summer in the trade that sent forward Cliff Robinson to Golden State. The Pistons have some flexibility in the backcourt and a logjam at point guard: Chauncey Billups, Chucky Atkins and Lindsey Hunter. And forward Tayshaun Prince is capable of running the offense. Sura has played both point guard and shooting guard, but the team is looking to add consistent scoring in a reserve role. Sura is averaging 3.0 points, 1.6 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 12 minutes a game. He has played in 30 of the Pistons' 32 games. </div> Detroit Free Press
Their was an article earlier that said we might trade Sura for Mercer. Sura has a expiring contract at the end of the year that would help us resign Memo, so I don't if we should trade Sura. He has been pretty good recently, driving to the lane and dumping it out. Good to see that Corliss is playing at the SF position, it took Brown a long time to realize that though.
I have a feeling Sura will be packaged in a deal that would get another good scoring option. He has been decent lately though.
Sura has been playing well lately, which is probably why it will be fairly easy for the Pistons to trade him. I hope they can get someone good...Think they might go after Laymond Murray? I read somewhere that he was asking for a trade.
Do we really want to trade Sura? He has an expiring $6 million contract that would allow us to make a good offer to Okur to keep him. I don't know if Okur would want to stay, he has had some with Larry Brown.
