Seriously I really dont think the Pistons even need him. Even if they want veteran leadership which I think they dont even need.
I have mentioned him numerous times on RealGM. He would be good here, no big minutes or nothing, just a threat from beyond the arc and come in and maybe supply some offense. And veteran leadership.
Smith isnt known for his defense whatsoever, and while hes a great 3-point shooter, Larry Brown has always disliked the 3-point shot so i doubt Smith would see very many minutes at all...
It doesn't matter if LB doesn't like 3 pt shooting, Smith still spreads the floor. Its not like LB will shoot you if you take a 3, it just can't be an iladivsed 3. Smith will know when to gun it and when not to.
